The Railway Man is a 2013 British–australian war film steered by Jonathan Teplitzky. Throughout World War II, Eric Lomax (Irvine) is a British officer who is caught by the Japanese and sent to a POW camp, where he is compelled to chip away at the Thai-Burma Railway north of the Peninsula of Malaysia.
